Kamiesberg Adventures operates in the picturesque Kamiesberg mountain range. Untill now the wealth and beauty of the terrain has not been fully appreciated. Through us you will be given the opportunity to experience this breathtaking environment and its people.

The trail is a circle route on the outskirts of Garies which starts and ends at 'Omie se Kamp'. The 'Kamiesberg 6' is a 6 day, 100km 'fully supported' slackpack or a 'partially supported' slackpack hiking trail that runs up Studer's Pass and Groenkloof Pass to the town of Leliefontein, after which it meanders through the unique Kamiesberg landscape, through the towns of Tweerivier and Kheis, back to 'Omie se Kamp' halfway up Studer's Pass.

The difference between the 'Fully Supported' and 'Partially Supported' slackpack options is that with the 'Partially Supported' slackpack you have to bring and prepare your own food. You also have the option of bringing your own tent; or you can rent a tent, stretcher and mattrass from us at an additional amount.
